Mission Links

St. Barnabas supports mission and outreach through prayer, giving and practical support across the world and has particularly strong links with:


  • Swanland Education Africa Trust
    • Swanland Village School Nairobi - Established in 2001 to care for and educate street children from the slums of Nairobi. The support of this project extends throughout the Church and village and close links have been forged with the village Primary School and the BBC.
    • Ecumenical Day Care Project in support of women & families with aids in Kenya
  • David, Siyoli and Unathi Waters serving with Africa Soccer Developments in South Africa. Sharing faith with prisoners and ex-offenders in Cape Town through the means of sport (Dave was formerly with Ambassadors in Sport)
  • Ann Fursdon, a mission doctor in Chad (serving with Africa Inland Mission)
  • Chanti and Lily Raju and family - Good News Ministries in Andhra Pradesh. India
  • Trev and Denice Gregory (Trade Right International) based in Glasgow and with a base in Ghana
  • Moray Henderson (Operation Mobilisation based in Carlisle


  • John and Phyll Chesworth were former mission links but have now retired from serving with Crosslinks at the Institute for Christian-Muslim Relations
